About Cath --
Corporate litigator turned meditation teacher helping ambitious women find calm confidence and relaxed success.
I didn't come to this work because I'm naturally calm or patient. I came to it because I desperately needed it.
After years as a high-performing corporate litigator at a top-tier DC law firm—experiencing panic attacks, burnout, and the crushing realization that external success without internal peace isn't actually success—I walked away from Big Law in 2014 to do the work I came here to do.
For over a decade, I've been helping stressed-out, high-achieving women learn what I wish someone had taught me: how to trust yourself, manage stress without burning out, and create success that feels as good as it looks.
My approach combines the analytical rigor of my legal training with warm, practical wisdom. I ask good questions to help you discover your own right answers. This isn't about spiritual bypassing or pretending stress doesn't exist—it's about working with your brilliant, busy mind instead of against it.
I specialize in helping women who:
- Feel successful on paper but disconnected from themselves
- Are tired of living by everyone else's scripts and opinions
- Want practical tools for anxiety and overwhelm that actually work
- Are ready to redefine success around how they feel, not just how things look
My work has taken many forms—1:1 coaching, workplace wellness training, group programs like Stress School, my podcast Beyond Balance, leading retreats worldwide, and teaching at my Hudson Valley studio, Village Yoga.
"Listening to the Sound of Your Own Voice" represents 12 years of this work distilled into my most accessible format yet—the same practices I teach in private sessions and signature programs, now available for women ready to hear themselves again.
Currently working on my first book, "40 Early Mornings," mama to two boys, and preparing for my pilgrimage to India in March 2026 (you can join me! Learn more here: catherinezack.com/india2026)
